The Breastfeeding Resource Guide

I am a lactation consultant and manager of the MUSC Lactation Consutlation Service and Center in Charleston. My practice for the last 10 years has focused exclusively on breastfeeding and lactation. During this time I have also conducted clinical reaserch on human milk, breast pumping and infant test weighing. I work with a wonderful group of lactation consultants who are all advanced practice nurses as well as IBCLC. We see mothers and infants in the hospital at MUSC and in our out patient clinic in Rutledge Tower.

The MUSC Lactation Consultation Service is staffed by advanced practice nurses, either nurse midwives and/or nurse practitioners, who are Masters prepared and certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.

We see mothers in the hospital as well as in our out patient clinic.
